"Manage your soil, or your soil will manage you" is the idea behind the design of the 1550 Ripper. It was deisgned to be a soil manager that helps control compaction, increas water intake in wet weather, and reverse capillary action in times of dry weather. The 20" coulter in the front slices residue to prevent plugging, and the choice of shanks and points in back gives you a solution for your specific soil condition. It is a true deep-till conservation tool, minimizing topsoil disturbance. The versatility allows the operator to adapt it for either spring tillage or fall tillage, depending on their needs.
Shank options include Parabolic, HD Straight Leg, and Narrow Straight Leg. Point options include Flat Point, 7" Wing Point, Shark Fin Point, V-Cap Point, and Narrow Dorsal Fin Point.
