Landoll's 7130 To The Max Harrow is a vertical tillage machine designed to give superior seedbed preparation due to uniform soil density. Soil that is uniform in density means roots that grow deeper rather than growing out - that gives a hardier plant during dry spells. Since the 7130 works only the top 1.5" of soil, it helps improve germination during both wet or dry years: when it is wet, it breaks the crust allowing it to dry, and when it is dry the moisture stays in rather than being pulled up to the surface and evaporating. The other advantage of shallow, vertical tillage is working speeds from 8 - 11mph, which the 7130 was built for. Cutting reels, hyraulically controlled cover boards, and narrow transport widths are other features that make Landoll's product stand out from the competition.
